This is a Retreat and Educational Project based on a farm where we live and work according to permaculture/forest gardening philosophies. Our 62,5 acre (25ha) Farm is located about 20 min. walk from the panamerican highway. The farm itself is surrounded by beautiful primal tropical rainforest and accessible easy to get to by car and by bike. The nearest town is Rio Claro which is about 3 km away from us.

When you arrive here you will find a rancho, two houses, one hut, a tree-hut and plenty of space to camp. The river with its cristal-clear water and springs which pass the land invites you to bath and drink excellent fresh water. There is also a waterfall 45 min. away from us.

We are 4 people: Ray, Luci and her 2 kids Maurizius and Arthur. Further there may be temporally woofers and visitors. We are inspiring, teaching and learning from each other, thus we are seeing each other as teachers and students at the same time, or as brothers & sisters. Yet above all: we love each other.

Some of us are seasonal self sufficient, based on a great diversity of fruits, vegetables and edible wilds. Made from our edible wilds and vegetables we prepare different compositions of delicious fermented meals and we make raw chocolate. All of this offers us and our visitors an adequate environment to live a simple raw vegan lifestyle.

For those who are not into raw-vegan (yet), organic cooked food and raw fish meals are also available in a Tico restaurant nearby.

Making the big picture more complete we trade and cooperate with other organic farms and friends (...). One of these friends is Mirko with his adjacent farm called SMARAGDINA. He also invites people helping him for food and accommodations. On his farm cooking is possible. Also nearby lives Frank with his farm Finca Catarata, as the name indicates, including a waterfall.

We teach each other respect and a responsable thinking and acting toward ourselves and Nature with her creatures. We see us as a community of individuals which shares the same spirit- thus we are all of us sisters & brothers.

No matter how long you may stay here, of which social or national origin you are, what colour, age, gender you have or which sexual way you follow.

In this spirit we are all teachers and pupils - That to the aspect as an Educational project which goes for all of us!

You can give a contribution in return to our services and to make your stay cheaper here. There is a wide range of possibilities in creating a more practical and beautiful environment for the community. That could include sowing/transplanting, land maintaining up to harvesting and selling/exchanging our yields.Furthermore you may express your self in designing and building constructions, pathways, artworks, preparing raw vegan meals or teaching tai chi, yoga and martial arts, etc..

You will be here amongst fellow beings, with whom you can share experiences, ideas, visions, love...

You will find here a natural environment in which you get offered vegan rawfood. And if wished, single accommodations for particularly calm surroundings to meditate doing yoga, tai chi, detox, fast etc
