My personal motives to walk this path are based on the urging for freedom, self-determined life within Nature and the strive for being as independent as possible from the Mega-machine and its complex entanglements. Also I strive for personal spiritual development – short: Self-realization. I here see the opportunity to gain all of this. And so I offer to my fellow-beings the opportunity to make use of all of this to experience self-realization.

Goal of this project is to offer other fellow-beings the space to let him/her here experience the necessary knowledge of how to reclaim the original wisdom of his/her Nature. Thus he/she should come to the knowledge and self-confidence of how to let go the “old world values” and cravings. Or to put it in other words:

"I will admit to have failed my mission, if I would recognize that this project only acts for recovering and recharging people’s batteries, to make them again well-fitting “human-material” for Babylon."

Everybody that returns to the natural state of being will be reborn as a member of the Universal Brother-/Sisterhood and will positively influence the whole project and surrounding. Also from this future visitors will benefit. In my opinion, best thing to do to change people’s mind is to be a good example of how to live a fulfilled life.

We still have a lot of land to build houses and grow more trees.

Galore fruit may supply even more people to live permanently here. If you are searching for a place to live amongst like minded/hearted people, this project will offer you some possibilities to realize your visions.

I Ray, am currently the only permanent member of this project. A community in a wider sense would be very welcome to me. Insofar as I would have around here some neighbors with whom I can share similar ideas and could exchange at different levels.
My spiritual credo is earth-based. I accept all life-affirming and earth-healing ways.

You will be here amongst fellow beings, with whom you can share experiences, ideas, visions, love...

You will find here a natural environment in which you get offered vegan rawfood. And  if wished, single accommodations for particularly calm surroundings to meditate doing yoga, tai chi, detox, fast etc

Only tribes will survive. Following this credo RAWTREAT is open to become such a tribe (Annotation by Luci: “Here Ray concretely means that he wishes to create a sweet family”. Link:Ray as man). Further it would be very welcome if there are another family (clans) or other folk which will join into the web of neighbors, interchanging fruits, help, skills etc..

For those interested in setting up residence here we offer to live here first with us to get familiar with the climate, the vicinity, the people, permaculture-forest-gardening, self-sufficiency etc. Thus you get a picture of all of this without having to get a piece of land at once.

The community is the foundation of the project. Membership of the community is only possible for those accepted by all other community members. It is expected that the newcomer takes over certain tasks of the project. These contributions for the support of the community makes it likely unnecessary to pay the guest costs of $2/$1 a day (that is to be negotiated). It is also possible for a community member to earn personal money out of the project. The most important thing for a well- working community is the respect and loving relation of each one to another.

Our spiritual Credo is Earth based. We respect all life-affirming attitudes and spiritual ways. Though not having a certain faith we symphasize with spiritual/eco-phylosophical ways like Deep-Ecology, Taoism,..

There is yet another RAWTREAT farm in northern Costa Rica. That 9 hectar farm we prepare for the future while still living on the southern farm (RT-S). Here at the RAWTREAT Farm south we enjoy the seasonal self-sufficiency and the genetic-pool we take to the north.

Further here at RT-S we have got the possibility to invite guests and to get know those interested in becoming a permenant RAWTREAT member or neighbor of us.

Taken aim is to move to RAWTREAT -N thoroughly within 5-7 years and being self-sufficient and economically subsistent. Another option is to keep on living seanonally on the southern farm . In this case we would have farms in  slightly different climate - the northern one is dryer-and thus an even wider selection of fruits.

• or by living here as neighbor on your own farm and participate RAWTREAT partly

There is on one hand, the Farm in the South. The owner is Roland Schmidt who mainly lives in Germany. He invited me to live here and run this project. This farm is more developed than the one in the north. Regarding to the mature fruit trees as well as what refers to the capacity of accomodations. Which is why I primarily invite people there.

This farm I have just purchased which is why it is not yet so well developed as that in the south. Nevertheless, here I see the RAWTREAT’s future and of my life. Above all, because I see there the better conditions that other like-minded/hearted people will move there to create something like an eco-village. The advantages I see there are, a)properties are cheap, b)ideal climatical conditions, which is tropical lowland, rainforest but not that wet and rainy as it is in the south, c)it is quite a clean area where there are almost no people spraying chemicals since there is no industry around, d) a less dense population, e)very fertil volcanic soil. All of this are factors which made Martin move there with his project SAFURIAN. Other like-minded/-hearted people feel attract to come here too.
